Samsung Plans to Start Mass Production of PRAM Chips in 2006

Samsung recently announced that it plans to start mass producing next-generation non-volatile PRAM (Phase-change Random Access Memory) chips in the second half of 2006. At first the company will manufacture 256MB PRAM chips, after which it intends to move to 512MB models towards the end of 2006 and 1GB models by 2007.
